Commercial & Contract Management

Many members of Insight International’s staff have a professional background in quantity surveying and commercial management, with a significant number being Members or Fellows of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Project Programming / Scheduling

Detailed and realistic project programmes are the foundation of effective project management and are often fundamental to the successful demonstration of entitlement to an extension of time to the contract period.

Our project management, programming and scheduling professionals have extensive experience in the preparation and analysis of tender and construction programmes and extension of time applications (through various methodologies, depending on the information available), in acting as expert witnesses on scheduling and delay issues and in providing independent opinions on contract and project programmes.

Our experience also enables us to provide project and programme monitoring services, working alongside existing project teams in order to maintain the contract programme, identify potential delay and disruption events and mitigate the risks associated with those events.

Our planners are fully conversant with the major planning software packages including Power Project, Artemis, Primavera, SureTrak and MS Project.

Our services include:

  • Preparation and analysis of tender, construction and as-built programmes (including those for PPP / PFI schemes)
  • Preparation of outline method statements for submission with tenders
